Setting up notifications

To access notification settings, open your profile settings from the profile menu on the sidebar. Here, you'll find all settings associated with your profile, including configurations for audio, email, and push notifications. Note: These settings apply to your profile only and do not change settings globally. Audio Notifications Audio notifications are available when you have VowChat open in the browser. They are sent immediately, based on your chosen settings. Alert tone You have five different alert tones to choose from. Each tone can be previewed by pressing the preview button. Alert events for conversations Three options are available: 1. My assigned conversations: Alerts only for conversations assigned to you 2. Unassigned conversations: Alerts for conversations with no assignee 3. Open conversations assigned to others: Alerts for conversations assigned to peers, excluding unassigned conversations Alert conditions Two conditions are available: 1. Send audio alerts only if the browser window is not active 2. Send alerts every 30s until all assigned conversations are read Recommendation for agents: Enable audio notifications for assigned conversations to balance staying informed while minimizing distractions. Push Notifications and Email Notifications VowChat sends notifications about new events via: - Browser push notifications - Mobile app notifications - Email Recommended settings: Enable notifications for assigned and mentioned conversations. Enabling push notifications in the browser To enable browser push notifications: 1. Click the toggle to enable browser notifications 2. Your browser will prompt you to allow notifications 3. Click "Allow" to enable push notifications If the prompt doesn't appear, check your browser settings to ensure notifications aren't blocked for VowChat. Email Notifications Email notifications keep you informed even when you're not actively using VowChat: - Configure which events trigger email notifications - Set frequency preferences to avoid inbox overload - Customize notification content based on your needs By properly configuring your notification settings, you can stay on top of customer conversations without being overwhelmed!

Adding Agents

An Agent is a member of your Customer Communications team on VowChat. Agents will be able to view and reply to messages from your users. To add agents to your VowChat account, you can use the 'Click here to invite a team member' link. Alternatively, navigate from Settings → Agents. Adding an Agent Step 1. You'll be redirected to the Agents management page where your name will be listed by default as Administrator. Step 2. Click the Add Agent button on the top right-hand side. Step 3. A window will pop up to enter Agent details: - Name: Full name of the agent - Role: Choose from Agent or Administrator - Email address: Valid email for login and notifications Step 4. Click Add Agent to confirm. Step 5. You'll see an "Agent Added Successfully" message, and the agent will receive an email invitation to join your VowChat account. Agent Roles Administrator: - Full access to all features - Can manage settings, agents, and billing - Can create and delete channels - Can access all conversations Agent: - Can view and reply to assigned conversations - Can access channels they're assigned to - Cannot modify account settings - Cannot manage other agents Modifying or Deleting an Agent Step 1. Navigate to Settings → Agents - Use the pencil icon to edit an agent - Use the red cross icon to delete an agent Step 2. When editing an agent: - The agent's prefilled information will appear - You can modify the name and role - Click Edit Agent to save your changes - Click Cancel to discard changes Deleting an agent: - Click the delete icon (red cross) - Confirm the deletion - The agent will lose access immediately and be removed from your account

Create Your VowChat Account

Getting started with VowChat is simple! Follow these steps to create your account and begin providing exceptional customer support. Step 1: Visit the Signup Page Go to vowchat.ai and click "Create a free account" or visit the signup page directly at: https://app.vowchat.ai/app/auth/signup VowChat homepage with signup button Step 2: Complete the Signup Form Fill in the required information: 1. Full Name Enter your full name (e.g., "John Hopkins") 2. Work Email Provide your business email address 3. Account Name Choose a name for your account (e.g., "Wayne Enterprises") 4. Password Create a strong password that includes: - At least one uppercase letter - At least one number - At least one special character 5. Confirm Password Re-enter your password to confirm 6. Coupon Code (Optional) If you have a coupon code, enter it here to apply discounts or special offers Once you've filled in all fields, click "Create Account" to continue. Step 3: Email Verification After submitting the signup form: 1. You'll be automatically logged into your VowChat dashboard 2. Check your email inbox for a message titled "Confirmation Instructions" from VowChat Step 4: Confirm Your Account Open the confirmation email and click the "Confirm my account" button. You'll be redirected back to your VowChat dashboard, and your account will be fully activated! What's Next? Now that your account is created, here are the recommended next steps: 1. Customize your personal profile - Add your photo and contact details 2. Configure account settings - Set up your account preferences 3. Add Agents - Invite your team members 4. Add Channels - Connect your communication channels (website, email, social media) 5. Configure chat widget - Customize your website chat widget 6. Add Teams - Organize agents into teams 7. Add Labels - Create labels for organizing conversations 8. Add Response Templates - Create templates for common responses 9. Set up Integrations - Connect with other tools 10.
