How to migrate from Front to VowChat?

Before You Begin

Step 1: Remove Front Chat Widget

Uninstall the existing Front live chat widget code from your website.

Step 2: Export Contacts

Export all contacts from Front using Front's contact export guide.

Migrating to VowChat

Step 3: Sign Up

Create a VowChat account using their account creation guide.

Step 4: Migrate Live Chat Widget

1. Create a live chat channel in VowChat

2. Obtain and paste the new chat code snippet into your website

3. Ensure Front's widget has been removed

Step 5: Migrate Contacts

1. Open 'Contacts' tab in VowChat

2. Press 'Import' button

3. Upload exported Front contacts in CSV format

Step 6: Migrate Conversations

Use the VowChat API to import existing conversations from Front.
